This shelf is very poorly made- none of the members are continuous, meaning that it is very unstable. I tried to use it as directed, used the zip ties, and did not overload the shelves. It fell over!! It was very wobbly and it just toppled over. It killed all of my plants.

My experience with Crazy Deals was terrible, I had not completed the order with them, it was sent anyway; I returned it unopened; I was still charged almost $40 for s/h. Amazon did not help. I will not order from either again. I have since purchased the product from Target for atotal of $49.37. The Misco Garden Home and Garden 4-Shelf is great and I have had one for years; The plastic cover has finally oxidized and fallen apart.

I bought this from a local hardware store. It goes together easily, but it’s flimsy and the frame pieces don’t lock together. Every time it got windy, the thing fell over and broke part. The plastic cover doesn’t withstand much. After a couple of years in the sun and getting knocked over by the wind a lot of times, I finally threw it out.

This product came, as anticipated, with all the pieces and was very easy to set up. Within the first week, the plastic cover was beginning to pull away from the zipper on the front. So now there is a gaping whole in the plastic. (Sort of defeats the purpose). But most importantly, (I live in the Nashville area of TN), it has been blown over by the wind at least 4 times now (I’ve only had it a month), sometimes WITH plants inside. This has also happened when we put bricks inside to weight it down. My plants get crushed and destroyed everytime it blows over. I think that the plastic acts a some kind of parachute, so if you get a good burst of wind, it lifts the greenhouse and it tips over.
Overall, great idea but not functional.

Like others, I found this at a local ‘big box’ store for around $30. It was idiot-proof to put together, and all of the pieces fit easily. If you wanted to move it around much without the frame pieces popping out, squirting some adhesive caulk or glue in as you put it together would do the trick. The plastic cover fits nicely over the frame, but with enough “wiggle room” that you can place two standard-size flats per shelf, for 8 flats total. I’m using this for hardening off indoor-started seedlings. This is small enough to (carefully!) move around to either get a little sun or into the shade. Draping a sheet or tarp over it would also shade the inside so long as opened the front to allow for air circulation. This is definitely NOT a heavy-weather or “heavy duty” unit. If you get severe weather (esp. wind/hail), the a more durable model or additional protection for this one should be considered.
